Cohousing 101
Two options:
Friday afternoon
Saturday morning
This introductory session is an ideal primer for newcomers to cohousing. You will learn about the history and core characteristics of cohousing as well as how it is created. You will get a glimpse of the diverse array of existing cohousing communities across the U.S. and learn what this neighborhood type offers to residents as well as what the lessons from existing cohousing communities can tell us about achieving high quality, sustainable and resilient neighborhoods for the future.
Attendance at either of these sessions is free of additional charge to all registrants of the regular conference (including all one-day and full conference registrants). These sessions do have limited capacity though and are available on a first-come-first served basis so if you expect to attend, please sign up for one of the sessions as part of your registration process.
